It is even aesthetically pleasing to type on the keys which made me eager to review it further.
As for display size, the 15.6-inch ASUS TUF Gaming F17 laptop rocks a 1920×1080-pixel resolution. The 144Hz refresh rate is important for gaming and other multimedia, so there are no worries there.
This laptop is also VR-ready if you’re looking to jump into that new world of technology such as MetaVerse.

I’ll start with the design which is very sleek and the red accents give it a nice look and holding it in your hands you can feel the premium quality.
It comes with a 15.6″ FHD 144Hz IPS Display which is great for hardcore gaming and media consumption because the high refresh rate means no stutter, no tearing, and a smooth visual experience.
The RTX 3050 Graphics card is also a nice touch and will let you run most games on medium to high graphics without any issue and the Ray tracing cores will future proof the laptop for upcoming games.
And to compute your everyday tasks it comes with a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10300H Processor which has 6 cores and 12 Threads and while for storage it has a 256GB NVMe SSD, ensuring all your games boot up in a matter of seconds.
It has a backlit keyboard which is always a plus, I mean that’s the whole point why I included this laptop in this list in the first, however, it cannot be changed to any other color than red.
Nonetheless, it didn’t annoy me as much as I thought it would and I had a joyful experience with it. moreover, the keys were also positioned well and I had no problem gaming or typing on it.
One thing that caught my attention is that this laptop also comes with an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i which is the latest and greatest in wireless technology.
Furthermore, you can also hook up wired peripherals to its 3.5mm headphone jack and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports.
However, battery life is not the best but it’s still manageable and you can always just use the power cord if you’re gaming or working for an extended period.
4. Newest MSI GF63
Behold the power of MSI. With its latest gaming laptop, the MSI GF63, you can now enjoy the latest in graphics and processing technology with its blood keyboard backlighting.
But before I tell you my experience with its keyboard, let me shed some light on this tremendously stylish laptop which houses a 10th Gen Intel quad-core i5-10300H processor and 16GB of RAM, making it perfect for running multiple demanding applications at once.
You’ll also appreciate the 1TB SSD, which ensures that the laptop boots up and loads applications quickly. The Windows 10 Home, the 64-bit operating system is also a nice touch.
And if that’s not enough, it also features a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, 3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and an RTL8111HS-CG port. It also has a single backlight with an Anti-Ghost key.
What I found to be the best part of this laptop, however, was its keyboard. The backlighting on it is amazing and makes it stand out in low-light conditions. Typing on it was a breeze and I never had an issue with missed keys.
Because the red backlighting helped me guide my fingers in the dark which instantly made my gaming experience so much better and mesmerized me.

The Razer Blade 15 is just 0.78″ thin and houses an Intel Core i7-10750H processor that can reach up to 5.0 GHz with max turbo and 6 cores. And if that’s not enough, it also features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 which is powered by the NVIDIA Turing GPU architecture.
But that’s not all, the Razer Blade 15 also comes with a fast 144Hz 15.6″ full HD thin-bezel display, making it perfect for gaming because not only are the bezels thinner but you’re also getting more frames.
At 144hz you would feel like a king or a god being able to play any game you want without any lag.
Just like the other Razer laptops, you can also customize the backlight color of the keyboard with Razer Chroma.
But what sets this laptop apart from the others is its expandable memory and storage. So if you ever feel like you need more space, you can easily add more.
Speaking of memory it has 16GB of RAM which is more than enough for gaming and other purposes and to keep them secure, you can use the 512GB SSD.
. But the best part about this laptop, in my opinion, is its design. The CNC aluminum unibody frame not only looks great but it’s also very durable.
And because it’s made from aluminum, it’s very lightweight too which makes it perfect for carrying around, the Anodized Black finish also gives it a more premium look.
And if you’re looking for a laptop that is ready to connect, the Razer Blade 15 is fully loaded with Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt 3, USB type-A and type-C ports, and HDMI.
The battery life of the Razer Blade 15 is also impressive. I was able to get about 5 hours of use on a single charge, I mean for a such high-end gaming laptop that’s pretty good.
The only drawback of the Razer Blade 15 is its price, it’s definitely on the expensive side. But if you’re looking for the best gaming laptop, the Razer Blade 15 is worth considering.
6. Lenovo IdeaPad 3
I was excited to get my hands on the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Gaming Laptop. I had heard a lot of good things about it and was eager to see if it lived up to the hype, amazed to say that I was not disappointed.
This laptop is a beast. It’s powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor and has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, making it perfect for gaming and video editing applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
The 15.6″ FHD IPS display is simply beautiful. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the 120Hz refresh rate is perfect for gaming. I didn’t experience any screen tearing or artifacts while playing games such as Overwatch and Apex Legends.
The 8GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and 256GB M.2 PCIe SSD storage are also top-notch. The laptop boots up quickly and applications load quickly. I never experienced any lag or stuttering while using it.
The audio quality is also excellent. The 2 x 2W speakers with Nahimic Audio for Gamers provide clear and precise sound. I was able to hear enemy footsteps clearly while playing games, which was a huge advantage.
The gaming keyboard with a white backlight is also great. The keys are spaced out nicely and have a good amount of travel. I never had any issues with mistyping or missed keys.
I love the fact that I felt very comfortable with the typing experience since I have bigger fingers.
And did I mention that the battery life is fantastic? I was able to play games for over 5 hours on a single charge.
The webcam and microphone array with privacy shutter is also great. The webcam is HD and the microphone picks up sound. I had no issues with video or audio quality when using Skype or Zoom.
The only downside of this laptop is that it’s a bit on the heavy side, weighing in at 5.51 pounds. But for a gaming laptop, it’s pretty light.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Gaming Laptop. It’s a powerful and beautiful machine that is perfect for gaming and general use. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new laptop.
7. Lenovo Legion 5
I chose the Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop because it had good reviews and was reasonably priced.
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I’m really happy with it. The backlit keyboard is awesome. It’s so much easier to see the keys in low-light conditions. And, it does make things easier on my eyes.
As for other components such as the display, processor, and graphics card, they are pretty phenomenal too, lets’s start from the performance aspect,
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor is fast and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card produces great visuals. I love the fact that I can play my games with ray tracing now.
The 15.6-inch display also plays a role in the great visuals. It’s an IPS display which means that it’s clear and bright. The colors are also very accurate. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful display on a laptop.
In terms of connectivity, the Legion 5 has you covered with WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, 4 USB, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4. It also has a built-in webcam with an e-shutter.
The best part about this laptop is that it has 4 Zone RGB backlighting which increases the aesthetics tenfold. And the spacing between the keys is perfect, I never mistype anymore.
As for battery life, it only lasts for about 2 hours on heavy usage which is fine for me because I mostly use it at home, however, if you travel a lot, make sure you have your charger with you.
Lastly, the audio is great too. The Nahimic Audio for Gamers enhances the sound quality and honestly, watching movies and playing games with this audio is a whole new experience.
All in all, I’m extremely happy with the Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop. It’s a great laptop for gaming and general use. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new laptop.
