List of Best Laptops With Numeric Keypads
So let us take a dive!!
1. Lenovo IdeaPad 3
My personal favorite and first on the list is the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14 Laptop which is awesome for a wide array of reasons.
Well, you may ask how?
First of all, when I popped this gorgeous and lightweight device out of the box, I was immediately struck by its sleek and professional design.
I was even amazed that under the hood it even has a powerful AMD Ryzen 5 5500U Mobile Processor that definitely makes work or gaming life easier.
Another thing I really loved about it was the 8GB DDR4 RAM which left me with zero lag time when I was multitasking between different windows.
Since I usually find myself working on various office-related projects, I found the built-in 14.0 FHD Display perfect for viewing multiple documents side by side and not having to scroll constantly.
Not to forget that the bezels are so thin that they take up minimal space while I work and look great aesthetically.
On the topic of storage, I was very pleased with the 256GB solid-state drive that leaves plenty of room for photos, music, and videos, I mean it’s not like I am working all the time, I have to relax sometimes too!
But what really sealed the deal for me was the AMD Radeon 7 Graphics that come with this device, considering at this price point you usually don’t see that kind of graphics card.
Because I was able to play all my low-end indie games on almost high graphics and it looked beautiful, with no lagging or blurring.
Moreover, to keep things cool and frosty, the IdeaPad 3 comes with some amazing thermals and airflow enhancements which is something I definitely need because I live in a really hot climate.
Finally, the most important reason why I bought this laptop in the first place is due to its super comfortable keyboard with decent spacing in between.
On top of all that, there are other features that make this laptop my new favorite such as the backlit keyboard for working in darker areas, the fingerprint scanner for an extra layer of security, and even a privacy camera shutter to protect me from any prying eyes.
The icing on the cake, however, is that this laptop comes with a built-in numeric keypad which is perfect for data entry or just typing in passwords!
The battery life is also pretty amazing, lasting up to 10 hours so I can keep gaming or working all day without having to worry about charging it which is pretty nice.
As for connectivity all, it has the ports you would need such as 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0, 1x HDMI, and a headphone/mic combo jack.

Acer has even put in CoolBoost technology that will increase fan speed by 10% and CPU, GPU cooling by 9% when the laptop is under load, so I am sure my buddies living in extreme climates would appreciate this feature.
As for my keyboard experience really, I liked the feel of it and found that the backlight was a nice touch, however, it only had the color red and couldn’t be changed.
But that didn’t bother me one bit since I was more interested in the layout, especially the dedicated keypad that is pretty handy for me for all sorts of work I perform in my daily life.
Moreover, the surface around the keyboard has a nice texture to it that isn’t too rough but also doesn’t feel like it’s going to wear off any time soon. The key placement is also very comfortable and doesn’t feel congested.
In terms of ports, you’ll find all of the necessary ones including USB 3.1 Type-C, HDMI, and a headphone jack, if you are fond of wireless connectivity there’s even an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 that will make sure you have a great experience.
